I started my career in the irrigation industry in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1984 and the market for residential irrigation was just starting to accelerate. I worked on a number of extensive irrigation projects most of them beach front homes, since then I have continued to enjoy a career in the irrigation field for more than 20 years.
Over the years I have worked on many diverse and challenging installation projects, including shopping malls, office complexes, apartment complexes, recreational fields, and corporate headquarters. I have also worked on many golf courses throughout the Southeast, including replacing outdated irrigation on the greens for Augusta National.
I have installed numerous systems for both university and college campuses such as UNC and Duke University, as well as the Sprint headquarters building (now known as Embarq) off U.S. 1 North outside of Raleigh. After having installed hundreds of both residential and commercial projects in Fla., Ga., and now Raleigh, North Carolina, but working for other contractors, I decided to leave and start my own business and provide the level of quality and service that is lacking in the irrigation industry today.
